Malik, Inc. specializes in customer experience consulting and the delivery, implementation, and support of software solutions. 

Originally starting out as a CRM-focused firm, we’ve expanded our scope to be more strategic in nature. We go beyond standard Customer Relationship Management (“CRM”) solutions to help customers take an empathetic approach to their customers—placing them in their customers shoes. 

How would their customer go from not knowing about them to knowing? From knowing to engaging? From there, obtaining pricing, buying, and then servicing?

This is all connected in our approach, and the standard operating procedures and software used at every micro-transaction of the process is scrutinized. At times, this can yield a need to change to an accounting or Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) systems, CRM software, or going so far as to revamping websites, social media presence, and other ancillary solutions used to solve disparate problems.

Basil Malik

Hi there!

I’m Basil Malik—tech tinkerer turned CX advocate. Since coding my first website in the ’90s, I’ve guided more than seventy successful CRM projects. My north star is simple: technology should feel human. Malik, Inc. exists to listen first, create boldly, and celebrate every client win like it’s our own.

I’d like to invite you to learn a little bit more about our origins and history.

1997 – Passion for Tech

Basil got exposed to technology at an early age. Starting with MS Office products, it quickly expanded into tinkering with websites and exploring various prominently used web development languages at the time (HTML, DHTML, etc.).

2010 – Web Server Management

Basil begins dabbling in web servers, website hosting, and in-depth website development.

2013 – Professional Consulting

Basil joins Steward Consulting as their first, full-time CRM consultant specializing in Sage CRM integrated with Sage 100.

2015 – Malik, Inc. founded

Originally, Malik, Inc. was founded to be a holding company for Basil's entrepreneurial dreams.

2016 – Malik, Inc. Focused on CRM

Departing Steward Consulting, Basil shifts the focus of Malik, Inc. to be a standalone CRM consulting partner.

2019 – Joins Pabian Partners

With an opportunity to work with a trusted partner, Basil begins learning Acumatica ERP.

2020 – Joins Blytheco, Discovers Creatio

Missing his CRM consulting roots, Basil goes back to the world of CRM and joins Blytheco as its CRM Practice Leader.

2022 – Regional Recognition

Having grown the Creatio practice, Blytheco wins an award as Creatio's fastest growing partner in the Americas.

2023 – Changes

Departing Blytheco, Basil begins his family with wife Lizabeth. They welcome their son Xander. Basil joins Net at Work as their CRM Practice Director.

2024 – Re-launches Malik, Inc.

Struggling with work/life balance created by his own making, Basil departs Net at Work. Re-launches Malik, Inc. as a Customer Experience consulting firm.
